Tools

We have used several different tools, and will use the tools used by the different customer’s development departments.

We can adjust coding style and HDL code formatting to fit the different styles used by different customers.

The Zylin AS preferred development style involves writing all codes in HDL and using the vendor-supplied tools for synthesis and place & route. For simulation, we use ModelSim.

We use the Eclipse IDE with a VHDL plug-in as our development platform.
